Foo - Should I?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Call in sick today? My wrists are hurting and my stomach is still twitchy from the past 4 weeks of nausea. Wrists are hurting because I haven't had enough time off (haven't had 2 days in a row for a month) and they're just...not too good.
I'm also totally not in the mode where I feel like I could give a decent, comprehensive massage. At least, not up to my normal quality of work. I'm certain I could still outperform 80% of my coworkers, but that's only because of the education they received. Anywho...
Yeah, I need to save my wrists. I'll be calling in.
Thanks for your help! ;)

If you are coherent enough to put that much thought into, get to a computer, and type your question, then you are in good enough shape to go to work. :)

Massage therapy is very physical work - it's not like sitting at a desk and typing on a keyboard.
I vote for taking a sick day.

Take the day off.
A good friend of mine developed carpal tunnel from massage therapy work. He now sells insurance after retraining and surgery.
You don't want to end up selling insurance...do you?

I knew I had something special to do today...
You are very welcome!
It was the very least I could do. No problem. Let me know if you need anything else.

Another day, perhaps. :)
I called in. I love my coworkers and managers. The response I received was "If there's a chance of you hurting yourself, I don't want you in."
you should have heard what they said as soon as they hung up though.:innocent:
