I have an Ignio folder I just got and the right grip due to the shifter is about 70mm long. The left grip is considerably longer.
Does anyone sell uneven length grip sets or do I have to buy two sets of two different lengths to change these things?
This pic gives you an idea of the disparity and just how ugly the grips are.

it has to be longer as you do not have the shifter on the left side .....
or do I miss somewthing ?

Well most grips you can just cut to size, and most bikes have a shifter on both sides, so it's rare. Ergon sells some sets where the right grip is shorter. You can see it here, it is the set that is "Rohloff / Nexus compatible"

Cane Creek sells lock-on grips in two sizes, normal and shorter for grip shift. But both grips in the pack are the same size.

You can get a set of grips (one long, one short) in my lbs in the UK, so they are obviously available. I'd be surprised if you couldn't get them in Japan.

Unfortunately I have found no supplier in the US who carry the "Rohloff / Nexus" version of the GR2 grips. You can either get a pair of full-length grips or a pair of short ("twist shift compatible") grips. I called Ergon USA and they were very nice, sent me a full length Left grip. I then bought a pair of twist shift compatible grips, swapped the Left grip, and I had the setup.
