Hi,
I have a problem. I took my bikes down the to the LBS. One was to get a $45 tuneup, a crankset installed, and both got new bars. The bill was over $200 in parts, as expected. But the labor was about $200. Which sounds weird. The Airborne alone had $150 in labor. Knock off $50 for a tuneup, and that leaves $100.
Should installing a crankset, and changing handlebars cost $100? I haven't picked up the Fuji yet, but it's going to be $70 on top of nearly $340 yesterday. The Fuji didn't need a tuneup, the only thing that was supposed to happen to it was installing a pair of handlebars. I don't get it.
