I bought this as a frame set from a friend about 15 years ago and built it up as you see here. It was originaly gloss black with a decal on the head tube that read "Pickering" over a rampant blue lion. The only other decal on the bike was on the down tube just above the BB and read "Selection Tri Colores" In blue white and red.

The tubes of the frame are Vitus Durifort and the fork legs and steerer tube are Super Vitus. Its about a 56 cm with a 76 or 77 degree head tube and 74 degree seat tube. It has a very short front and fairly long chain stays. There were no braze ons what so ever on the frame and the drop outs and BB shell are Campy.

Its a fun bike to ride because of the short and steep front end. Its a little darty and nervous so I call it "Kafeen".

Does it look familiar to any one? Any history on its origins?

Thanks, Steve Frew
