I wish there were a flamethrower dealership near me. I'd buy one at 3am, then be at the major mall by 4am to use my new toy on people like the following:

going to go to work and fart around the shop for a few hours (distended stomach gets in the way of turning wrenches).

leave work early and run by the comic book store (25% off everything and $5 trades!).

go to Critical Mass.

hit up a bar and drink.

go home.

it is even scary on the roads with all the crazy deal stricken frantic drivers going from store to store. I will risk my life going through the wal mart parking lot friday.

If I do any shopping it's going to be bearings at the LBS, maybe some spokes but thats it.
otherwise I'm building up a bike, and lacing some wheels.
oh, yah and eat a turkey stuffing and gravy sandwich.

*perhaps* go shopping, if I get money by tomorrow.
Otherwise, I will probably get paid Friday and head to the bike shop to get new cranks. Or just stay in the warm house.

I'm going to ride my bike to the mall. Then I'm going to walk around the first few rows of the parking lot with my car keys in my hand, and time which driver will stalk me the longest for a non-existent parking spot.

Son will be home from college. Will throw the dogs in his bed to wake him up, make him coffee, and force him to go hiking or on a bike ride with me. He is going to school in the Midwest and misses the mountains.

Ok, now I know what I'm gonna do on Friday!!!

Naw, jk. I'll probably be sleeping, as I've been running on fumes the last couple of weeks. I'll probably be more drained after Thursday too, when all the relatives are coming over to MY family's place for dinner. NO. Go away, silly relatives. I am in NO mood to entertain. I. Must. Get. Rest. *collapses*

I have to go pick up the front wheel for the 3Rensho I picked up yesterday, then swing by the local frame builder's shop to drop off some publications from NAHBS last year he wanted to look at. We're also going to work on the headset of my Serotta some. After that, head for home, avoid the stores, maybe head out for a ride.

My daughter's cheerleading competition is that morning. I will be listening thousands of people screaming in the Bobcat's Arena. I will make the best of it for my daughter. But in reality I would much rather spend my time in the rack slowly getting pulled apart like warm bread.

I worked retial a few times after T-day in my younger days. I would rather be working that day than shopping in it. I worked in the rear-most department and saw it all from afar, and I loved seeing all the upset people who had the nerve to act surprised at the crowds.

Going over to Mom's tonite and staying a couple days and cooking (just for ourselves - and she purchased a midget turkey - whopping 11 lbs :() on Thanksgiving and I just know that she'll be up at her usual 5:30 am on friday - and I'll finally walk downstairs to find her sitting there with her 6th cup of coffee and digesting all the ads/flyers from the newspaper ---- and I just KNOW she'll find something to go and buy on Friday. :( Otherwise - I wouldn't even ride by a grocery store parking lot.

Do bike shops normally run Black Friday specials? Some new winter gear would be nice.

Just as long as you're prepared to avoid the "Amish exhaust".

The only retail store I have ever worked at was a grocery store. The day after Thanksgiving was probably the slowest day of the year. It was easy, but it made for a very long day.
