I'm the guy who keeps posting about the $150 Japanese Ignio folding bike. Currently I've got on order:

Thudbuster LT
Biogon saddle
Schwalbe Marathon Racer Tires
Suntour folding pedals

and I'm thinking seriously about putting a new handlebar on the bike. Something maybe an inch or two longer with a little less of a riser to it. I'm trying to get some decent grips on the bike and there just isn't enough room to move the shifter inboard anymore. My right hand is barely on the current grip as it is.

So in other words I'm nuts. I bought a cheap bike and I'm already into it for about 350 bucks. But.....I'm having fun.

Nuts? Folding bikes are like chocolates - they often have nuts on top. - makeinu :)

Fit a flatbar, ie not a riser. They have more room. And are significantly lighter.

I guess you made sure the Thudbuster you have on order will be the right length and diameter?

Is there a chance you could post the updates on your original thread? That'll make a neat history of the bike. Otherwise they'll all just get lost.

I like the Ignio's looks btw.
