Thinking of introducing some new blood to the herd as an alternative to thinning it. Too many Japanese bikes here--anyone interested in trading something Italian, American, or British for a 63 cm Miyata Nine Twelve? Nice frame, excellent paint, dark blue-green with pink head tube. I bought it as a bare frame and built it up with approximately period-correct parts, mostly Suntour Cyclone, in place of the Shimano 600 that would have been on it originally (The wheelset and many of the parts were transplanted from a Nishiki Prestige of the same vintage, but that's another story.) It's been a great rider.
The trade idea is sort of a idle thought at this point but if the right bike comes along it might be fun.
