Lets see, as far as my interest in biking, it begins with triathlons. Just purchased my first road bike last summer - KHS Flite 300. It served its purpose - minus the 3 blowouts at my 1st tri because of a faulty rim strip - replaced both rims with a much stronger more durable strip. I would have to say I am a runner at heart, but enjoy the multi sport interaction of a triathlon. I'm a middle of the pack swimmer and biker, but enjoy a good run at the finish.

I approach much of my bike workouts as just that - workouts. I probably need to ride for enjoyment more often, but I find it easier to train if I am on a mission or set a goal before I ride.

I try to accomplish most of my workouts during the lunch hour or before work, in order to spend more time with my family.

That is about it for now, I look forward to chatting with all of you in the future.

Welcome aboard.

Was that you carrying your bike next to the lake at the Shawnee Mission Tri? I believe I offered you a tube!

Get out and take a look up from the gears sometime. Kansas can be a beautiful state.

Finally another triathlete on this forum!!!!!:D

Welcome and it will be great to have you around here. This is one great place to be as the people are super and the knowledge is endless.

I just started doing tri's last year and I am hooked. I am more a cyclist at heart and hate the running so maybe between us we can work something out to make it easier for each of us.
