Have two Brit cups and a 70mm It spindle (Campa NR). Would like make one bb of them, using a spacer on the drive side. Only am wondering whether the races are the same in diameter. Are they?

Thank you!

the *cups* are not the same diameter (1.37" vs 36mm) and the space between races on the spindle will differ since the BB shell width is 2mm different between them (tho a spacer *might* compensate, but might not give you proper chainline). AFAIK the actual bearings used are the same in all flavors of NR BB: British, Italian, French or Swiss. Why not swap it (with somebody here) for the right one?

Thank you unworthy.

Thought this was a practical solution for some good stuff laying around. Will go this way and use an as thin as possible spacer.
