Ok, this one's a puzzler.

Today I openend up a pair of supposed Wolber Profil 18 rims to lace up,
much to my chagrin I found a pair of Wolber Profile A rims. So this brings up
a few questions.
They look like a track specific rim (no parallel braking surface), is this infact the case?
The Profile A from what I can tell were an early aero rim, they look to be a 32mm V type rim,
they have spoke holes that are very small (Hidden spokes?)
Does anyone know what kind of spoke nipple they take? and if so does anybody
know where I can find them?
thanks,
Marty

16 views and not even a WAG?

well I did get some responses from CR list.
my choices are
1) use regular spoke nipples upside down in the rim.
2) search in vain for the internal hex head nipple washer combo that sat inside the rim.
3) Use them as tire stretchers and forget about them

Marty,

This sounds like a pair of rims I saw at Roadfan's. He's on a dead end with them, too, and he knows more than I do.

Thanks Stan.
So $.75 per nipple, $.25 per washer thats Fifty Bucks just for the spoke nipples and washers?
no thanks, these will make excellent tubular stretchers. That's more than I paid for the rims.
