it will work for you it won't be a fast bike more of a leisure bike. all my burley recumbents are slow. the only parts you can't get a replacement somewhere else is the fork and the seat. everything else is replaceable so you don't have to worry about that.
not sure where he got the fast bike but this was marketed as a leisure bike. but from what I have heard it is a good ride. http://tinyurl.com/6muaym
