I am looking for kids gloves and shorts for mountain biking. A few neighborhood kids here on Mt Tam have decided to create a club and we want to get them all gloves and mountain shorts.

My local bike shops don't seem to have great gear for kids their age (7 years old). Any suggestions or should I go to the Family and Rec forum?

look at women's size small - that worked for my kid when he was small

Look at BMX race gear or motocross gear, there is stuff for toddlers to teens. I get most of my son's BMX gloves, jerseys and pants at the motor cycle shops, they tend to be better priced than the bike shops and it is the same gear.
Womens gloves have never fit him properly, he likes the Fox Dirt Paws or Mace gloves.
