If you say you don't have one, then you don't deserve to be a Clyde!:p....Mine is to do atleast 200 miles since I have 4 days off. Hoping to get atleast 50 a day.

So post up,....................... or get me a rope!:roflmao2:

I am working the weekend, but I am planning on 75 for the 4 days, plus a few miles of running also. Swimming, if time allows and I can make it happen with the pool hours.

EDIT:

I forgot my miles will be on my rollers and not outside, so some of you wouldn't count the miles. My Garmin 305 is going to be tracking my miles on my bike and my runs. I have to lose weight, so I am going to start tracking everything again. When I was tracking everything, I was focused on my training and my eating, then I thought I was perfectly on track. So, I quit tracking things. Now my weight is up ten pounds and my two mile turkey trot yesterday gave me a bum knee again (stepped wrong). Back to running, swimming and biking, to get a decent all around workout, and to add in three days of lifting also. Time to focus or basketball referee work will not be fun.

I'm working overtime today and then probably hiking tomorrow. So no riding. I guess I don't deserve to be a Clyde. I guess that follows since much of the time I don't feel I'm a cyclist. :(

All in the head Jed!:p...First couple of years I went back and forth with other hobbies. Wasn't sure if I liked cycling or not. The more I discovered about cycling, the more I got involved. Now I'm 100% Clyde cyclist:D............Don't push it, give it time.

Work sucks!...Well not really but it gets in the way of riding!:D

My goal is 0. I think I might make it. You don't get Clyde status by riding 50 miles a day. You gotta camp on the couch for a bit too :)

Over 100 miles. I did 36 today, and tomorrow's ride should be around 70. Then Sunday, a recovery type ride with my son.

My goal was to at least make it around the hill climbing loop and see if I could get any more altitude. So I biked 25mi but didn't get much more climbing in than before. Looking at the topographic map, I clearly gave it up too early, because I had a few hundred feet of climb left to reach a downhill segment. Oh well.

Still trying to decide if I'll ride s'more...

I hope to ride this weekend. The weather has been miserable lately... rain, snow, snowy rain, rainy snow, hideous! But the weatherman (who is probably in the witness protection plan currently) has promised us a mild Saturday. If this is true I won't be home. If it's a lie I won't be home... I'm looking for the weatherman.

HI Guys,

I'm new here. I live in Okeechobee, Florida and ride a Catrike Trail, recumbent Trike.

My goal for the long weekend is 110+ miles. Today I rode almost half way around Lake Okeechobee, from Clewiston, to my home in Okeechobee on a mix of bike paths and surface streets and highways a distance of 54+ miles. Tomorrow (Saturday) I ride the other half, about 60+ miles or so.

I'm a big guy, 6'-4", 274 lbs. And I LOVE my recumbent trike! It is so easy to ride and comfortable...

I did 26 Wed and another 26 Friday and I would be a proud Cylde indeed to cover another 50 by dark Sunday night. Even another 30 would be okay. AND...my scales touched 230 briiefly after today's ride... down from my initial 255 (and rising) when I began in June! I also think that that my recovery rate after rides is improving quite a bit. Now where did that pecan pie get to? ;)

No mileage goals here but I do want to start exploring the local bike paths and trails. Today my DD and I rode to the Snake Bridge over Brdwy from Spdwy/Pantano here in Tucson. (photos from Paramount Steel Rolling and Tubing website)

The Snake Bridge is our local 'bridge to nowhere' as it cost @$1 M and ends less than 50 feet from the snake's mouth. There's about 15 miles of bike paths and lanes from the snake's tail to our house so the round trip was about 30 miles. We're going to try another ride Sunday - either back to the Snake or up to the River Rd bike path.

BTW, my DD got a new bike: a Giant Cypress with the comfort suspension fork and seatpost. She said it's much more comfortable than the Spec crossroads I've been riding (that was hers for the past 10 years) so there's little danger she'll reclaim it. But now I'm curious about her new bike. Do I dare test ride it?
