I've just ordered some cheap Two Fish knock-offs from Kaidomain. I'll report back on quality after I receive them.

EDIT: After receiving the wrong product, and KD refusing to do anything about it and not answering emails anymore, I would highly discourage anyone from ordering from KD.

Ditto. I'm looking for something like this as well to put into my emergency kit should my main lights fail. I've heard a lot of good things about the original two-fish and the design looks like it can't really be screwed up if it was copied. Only area I can think of less quality is the velrco straps using cheaper grade velcro which won't grip as well.

Two of these per light, size #10, $0.79 each (or cheaper if you have them already). Guaranteed not to jiggle the light like a two fish does.

hmmm.... i tried this, and doesn't work well, instead i use a double O ring holder that came with a
PlanetBike Peace Pumps Mini (only $8) :thumb:

the mini pump is small enough to fit inside the pocket, but i don't use it so i gave it away, since i use a much better pump for when i actually get a flat.

But the double O Ring holder fits perfectly, very easy to adjust, take off, and put back on, as necessary.

Did you try the one from Kaidomain or the original Two Fish? Many of us are happy with the original Two Fish, and would like to compare it to the Kaidomain knockoff.

That's a totally unpractical solution for the urban commuter. I'll pay a few extra dollars for he convince of being able to remove my lights without hassle and tools when I lock-up my bike......

Thanks I ordered a couple of those kais since I like that it has double velcro instead of one continuous one.
I have a few of the other knockoffs (lockblock vs bikeblock?) which have worked out well for holding my dinnote taillights instead of ordering mroe $14 mounts from dinotte ugh. Also used it to hold my P7 flashlight at to my bottom right drop on my road bike and the FD mount on my recumbent and it works really well with another solitary velcro strap strategically placed to point the light in the right angle/direction.

Well I received a package from KD today, and inside was three of the wrong mount. below is what I received. I sent them photos, and will update this thread on their response, although I doubt that I'll ever buy anything from them again as this is the second thing they've screwed up this week. DX on the other hand has been wonderful throughout many orders.

Since most flashlights are mounted 90 degrees to the handlebars, how do you use them with your bike(s)?

Simple, loop one inside the other - a 90 degree mount.

KD wrote back and offered me a 50% on the mounts they sent me, but this is no good as the mounts are too large in diameter to hold a Fenix LD2 light. Did anyone actually receive the mounts in the OP?

I received the right item (the "bicycle lights cramp (http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=6267)" [sic]) Side by side with the Twofish lockblocks , the two are nearly indistinguishable. Only difference I can see is that the Twofish version is slightly shorter (couple of mm) - in practice this will not matter one bit.

Kaidomain version - $2.98 shipping included (but takes 21 days to arrive in NYC from Hong Kong)

Dude. I have nothing against Robert. The first flashlight holder I bought was Twofish. I'm sure I'll buy more products from Twofish. But Robert could certainly help himself sell more products. For one thing, the online sites that sell his products are limited and obscure. For another thing, one of the sites he lists (boomerdirect.com) charges an amazing $14.95 to ship a single Lockblocks flashlight holder to NYC. Lighthound.com is much better, at $3.99, but consider that Kaidomain charges nothing to ship from Hong Kong to NYC.

If Robert has the ability, I suggest that he find a way to sell through Amazon, with reasonably priced shipping. He'll sell a ton more.

WTF, man? I've spent plenty on Two Fish products and think they are great. Why all the hate?

I got the "bicycle light cramp" too, and it was the right product, thankfully. Works really great. I only bought one though, and now I'm regretting it and wanting to buy a couple more.
