I am a newbie at the road biking sport. I am looking for a bike to start off on that is fairly cheep, i do not want to spend more than $1,000 for one. What is your favorite brand, what you like about it etc.... If you have any websites that show reviews i would like to have it. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks,

-Kyle

Thats a big area to cover! We need to know more about you .
Do you want to ride fast or tour?
Do you live where it's flat or hilly?
Old school or new school?

I may have an Al compact bike now, but

steel is still real!

Get a bike that has CrMo or Reynold 853 tubing!!!
