Okay I don't really watch that much television but on rainy saturday a couple of months ago I found myself channel surfing. I tripped across a marathon of Monk on USA, and I became hooked. Very funny I watched it with glee for a couple of weeks I even saw that it won some emmy's an a Peoples Choice award. Since then it has fallen off the radar screen . I never have watched it on its Friday night slot but manage to catch it when they rerun it Saturday morning while I d my crossword and fill up on my daily quota of caffine. I hope that like a lot of shows I end up liking that it didn't for some odd reason get canceled.

I think it's on hiatus. A bunch of shows are on hiatus this time of the year. Angel has been off the air for like 5 weeks already! I am dyin' here! :D

Hang in there- it's not going anyplace. It'll be back.

No dear, I'm not crazy. Angel is on hiatus for 5 weeks, then it returns April 14th with 6 all new episodes until the end of the season (and most likely, the series). So no bubble is burst or anything- I've already seen the commercials for the newest episodes.

Back to the topic at hand, I talked to a fellow friend who also loves that show. Apparently, Monk is finished for the season, but it's not a cancelled show by any means. In the meantime, they're going to start rerunning the episodes from this past season. So hang in there, and keep your fingers crossed that USA doesn't bail on their show (much like how WB bailed on Angel) and bring it back next season!

Ngateguy, I remembered your post, and I just saw a commercial, so I thought I'd pass it on for you, just in case you didn't know.

Monk is returning for it's new season on USA on Friday, June 10th at 10pm eastern on USA. So it appears as though your show is ready and rarin' to go! :D
