I see from all the post in the 'but honey it's Italian' and
swap meet threads that we have more than a few new members.
I'm thinking it's time for us to have another meet n' greet.

I suggest somewhere centrally located to both Dallas an Ft. Worth,

Ok, lets get planning, we are now officially open to suggestions!
(And I promise to be there this time)

Arlington/Irving/Grand Prairie area would be cool. I realize there are a lot of people on the north Dallas side of town, but I'm all the way out in southwest Fort Worth.

Count me in. How about the micro-brew at Bass Pro shop (can't remember the name of it) north of DFW airport. That seems to be centrally located, but where ever works for me.

How about a visit to Rahr Brewery when they do there tours on some Saturday. The Dallas guys could take the train over to Fort Worth (or stop earlier and ride part of the way) and us Fort Worth worth guys could meet somewhere on the Trinity trail and ride over.

I'm pretty well open to anywhere as long as there is few days notice.

I really like that idea! I've been meaning to do the Rahr tour but haven't gotten around to it yet. I don't know exactly where it is but it's pretty close to downtown, isn't it?

I'm pretty flexible, other than the evening of the 13th (christmas party), and 23-28th (out of town)

I'm In if we can do a Thursday, Friday evening...or Saturdays anytime after 2pm.
The only date that is completely out is Saturday the 20th.
Eating is Fine
Drinking is nearly Essential

Yes, its just a mile or two south of downtown. I can ride to it, but not pull the street names off the top of my head. A google map would be your friend.

A meet-n-greet sounds great. My schedule's getting tight here lately, but throw out a time and place and I'll do my best to be there.

I'm in east Dallas, but I'm up for anything.

The micro-brewery at Outdoor World Grapevine (DFW North) you are talking about is called Big Buck. It is a restaraunt featuring exotic meats like buffalo, etc., and of course the microbrewery. We can ride there from our house :) but we're all over DFW on any given weekend. Say when and where!

I'm into food and not booze, but also have a fairly full schedule this time of year, so not sure when and where would work for me.

True... I like the idea of a meet & greet, but maybe mid-January will be more do-able considering all the stuff people have going on around the holidays.

Doohickie does bring up a good point. December weekends are pretty packed for most of us.

What about Sat Jan 10th? Or would a weekday work better?

My work day starts at 10:00 PM Sun thru Thurs. If we do it on a weekenight, I can stop in for a bit but will have to leave. I should probably be sober too, lol.

meh, sober isn't as great as it's cracked up to be.

January works for me. any night except wed. (all of em) and I think the 27th.

Yea, but if I show up hammered they won't let me play with the really fun chemicals in the lab.:D

I just remembered that pretty much every Tuesday and Friday night from Jan thru Mid March I will be at a Soccer stadium near you in Collin County and adjoining areas.

Looks like I 'll hasve to work it in when ever we pick a date.
