Nice! The article is online here (http://www.forbes.com/business/forbes/2004/0419/094.html) .
Thanks for the post. I have purchased several items from them and I had a chance to visit the shop when I was out in California last summer. They are a great bunch of guys and gals. Hopefully, I'll have a Rambouillet (sic) in the near future.
His two books --- Road to Ride and Roads to Ride South --- are now unfortunately out of print. I found them at a used bookstore in Mountain View, CA. They are very informative and useful in planning out routes in the SF Bay Area. The two books cover most of the roads useful to cyclists in Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo counties.
Highly recommended, if you can find them.

Thanks for the link. I still love my RB-1, but in a few years I think I'll need to drive south and get a custom made by him.
