Winter Cycling - Got a load cold weather gear in the mail

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Fenders? Check
Studs? Check
Low fixed gearing? Check
Crappy frame that I don't mind getting wet and salty? Check
Lobster-claw gloves from Army/Navy? Check
Insulated helmet? Check
Wool snowboarding socks that go up to my knees? Check
Scratchy wool sweater from back of closet? Check
Wind-proof jacket in gaudy color so they can find my body? Check

And today I got my order from Campmor:

Balaclava
Super-thick tights
neck warmer
Snowboarding goggles

I am now ready. Come on stupid snow!

Yeah, I know. Please don't link back to this comment in Feb. I am not very smart, and forget over the summer what it is like. For some reason, I am really stoked to get it going this winter though. Maybe because I am trying to really commit to it more than I have in the past.
