Cyclocross Racing - 'Cross my Heart and the Superbowl of Singlespeed CX

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Registration isn't open yet, but I wanted to make sure people got a heads up.

finally a friggin SS race in this area!
February, sweet. Is there going to be a Hey-Stop-Looking-At-My-Fat-Ass category? I'm planning on bringing about 10 extra lbs to the race.
Sounds fun, I'll be there. May even have to get a singlespeed rig going.
I definitely plan on getting top 25. And I'm talking about top 25 people to pre-reg.

I'm in it to win it ... and by win it I mean place in the bottom 50%. I'm signed up for the 4 race right now. Trying to decide whether or not to buy a 20+ tooth freewheel and ride the SS race on my 700x23ed Centurion conversion.
Top 25 baby!! Only three pint glasses left.
I FORGOT!!!
I can't believe I forgot about registration and missed the pint glasses. Crapola.
Double race day - still trying to figure out exactly which bike/s to use.
Planning on it. I'd get to sleep in, drive like twenty minutes to the race venue, and then hit the really good, meaty kosher restaurant in the area (Pita Plus).
Hey everyone. Here's an update.
If you are from out of town and are not sure if you want to come out for "CX my Heart" (http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=7342), now there's one more reason to do so. get a full weekend in because...
You can race SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. (http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=7342)
Saturday is the SNOTCYCLE. (http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=7495) A Mountain Bike Race Held on the course for the Leesburg Bakers Dozen. Last year a guy did the 12 hour enduro race on a cross bike. you have to dismount a couple times but it is VERY do-able. There is a Singlespeed class too. Nice rolling course, hilly but no death climbs. The promoter has already said that a few people have contacted him about riding it on a cx bike.
how far is snotcycle from cx my heart?

It's going to be awesome. So awesome.
UPDATE:
It WAS awesome!!!
I raced it today, and loved every challenging minute of it. The guys at Proteus really did outdo themselves with the race. The venue was great, the atmosphere as fun and social as a CX race can get, and the best part was the course; creative, challenging, excellent flow, fast, and fun (and muddy. very, very muddy).
Great job, and I hope this race happens again next year.
Fun day. Took many pictures. They will be posted at www.cxhairs.com or my flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/picturesoflily//sets/72157613220473943) page. So far I've made it through the B race at the barriers and a couple selected doozies. Ryan can explain this one.

Nice shot. Only Ryan can make an endo look cool, but I give him mad props for attempting the bunny hop in the first place.
Just finished uploading all my images. Can see 'em all here: www.cxhairs.com.
Ryan can explain this one.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3396/3246694438_55e1f4b589.jpgWell, the barrier was taller than I thought. Bonked the rear wheel and got sent over the bars. I wasn't the only person to do that same thing though. Great race everybody, and you can see pictures of yourselves here:
