My new Formula Nucleus frame arrived today. I can't wait for the rest of it.

I've actually never seen a Formula frame. are they any good? I know my Formula hub isn't bad...

Those dropouts make me want to chop my arm off with a Sawzall.

People who ride them go fast. So yeah the dropouts might be ugly but at least they have a fast reputation!

The dropouts really don't look bad at all. I swear. Look at Snik's. And I ordered it off J&R's and it got to my house in like 4 days. I love it and I'll post pics of it this weekend. And I'll post the rest of the future bike check on Saturday too.

My bad, I forgot to post pics last weekend because I was at my dad's. If I remember, I'll do it this weekend. I already got scratches on it from putting it in the box a few times. There's big staples that sick out. Hopefully they come out with some wax.

Haha my bad. I keep forgetting. And yeah, I've had Profile's for a long time now. And I ordered Supercross forks, S&M T4 bars, Profile Acoustic stem, ODI Longneck Lock-Ons, and a Ciari headset on Friday. They should be here tomorrow.

Wait, nevermind I thought you were talking about cranks. But I'm ordering black Profile Mini's with blue Primo spokes and Black Sun Rhynolite XL's next. I'll definitely post a bike check when it's done. And a good starting bike for racing is an Intense or ugh...Redline. GT is still good too.

There are no intense's on dan's comp anymore besides like the 700 like alloy one.

Yeah same here. But instead of ordering my wheels, I decided to order some other stuff instead. S&M T4 Race bars (white), Supercross Pro LT forks (black), Profile Acoustic stem (blue), and Ciari headset (black). I also got a new digital cam so I'll take pics of the stuff when I remember.

Sorry about the late response, but what went wrong with it? Was it installation error or what?

the bearing cups I guess bent or stretch or something so that the headset is always loose no matter how tight the stem is clamped down. maybe thin or soft metal were it inserts to the frame.

Ehhh. Hopefully I don't have problems with it.

I know I just keep reviving this thread, but I don't want to start a new one. But anyhow, I got my white Profile Minis, white Sun Envys, and Intense Haalo tires today from J&R's. The other day from Dan's I got my blue Profile Imperial, blue Primo spokes, black alloy seatpost, and blue Profile Slim Jim seat clamp.

The bike shop got my 2009 THE seat in white, Shimano DXR brakes, and Profile Euro BB. I'm taking it down there to have them put it together on Valentine's Day.

tell her they are all cartridge bearings and there is nothing to worry about.

yeah how hard is it to put a bearing in? especially euro. Is the headset integrated?
