Any opinions greatly appreciated..

I don't ride them, but Fulcrum makes a great whgeel for the cost.I don't think they are made by Campy. You can get Campy compatible hubs though.

fulcrum is campy's shimano-compatible brand.

have heard great things and they are very nicely made. I've got them as part of my fantasy build in my head (custom Ti...)

Cool, I learned something.

Great quality wheel for the price point that's for sure.

Hi!
I am approx 200 pounds and ride on some terrible roads. My Ridley Excalibur came with Fulcrums 7 and I anticipated upgrading the wheels asap! However, I have been pleasantly surprised at how durible the Fulcrum wheels have been. I have (unfortunately) hit many potholes, rocks and other unexpected debris in the roadway over the last nine months and the wheels are still as round and true as they were brand new!

The guys at my LBS (not really Campy fans) speak well of them.

I've got 500 miles or so on my 5s. I replaced a set of Bontragers, and immediately noticed a HUGE difference in performance. Best bang for the buck out there!

(carry a notice that "blah blah blah check them frequently if you are over 80Kg")
