I recently bought a Trek 520, and made a swap from the original saddle to a Brooks B-17. Now, my LBS says that it will be on backorder for some time; maybe even 4 weeks. Does this sound right to you? If I were to order one online, would I have to wait that long? (BTW, I am using the original until the Brooks comes in.)

As of 2 weeks ago, Nashbar had them in stock. Why not just call/email a couple of places and ask?

I tried to get a b-67 from my LBS and QBP said they are on backorder

Anyone know how the B-17 compares to the stock Trek 520 saddle? Are they about the same size / shape? I am not sure what my saddle is anymore (the name has been worn off)...

I bought from this seller on ebay and he has a great selection of saddles from Brooks.. Here is a link to the B17 he is selling.. You can also get proofide and spanner for $10.00
