I have done a number of tests in the field and by heart rate - but what is the most accurate?
Lets say for example - me, 34, max heart rate 202(maybe a few ticks higher), VOmax as done with a POLAR monitor 69%... I have done the Carmichael test of double 3 mile time trials, The Polar test for VOmax, the hill ride to max heart rate test - and then put them through their respective formulas to come up with the "correct" training numbers. But what is the most accurate test?
I really appreciate your input, and if you can, please explain why your test is the best.
cheers
