Training & Nutrition - so what is the best test for AT out side of the lab?

I have done a number of tests in the field and by heart rate - but what is the most accurate?
Lets say for example - me, 34, max heart rate 202(maybe a few ticks higher), VOmax as done with a POLAR monitor 69%... I have done the Carmichael test of double 3 mile time trials, The Polar test for VOmax, the hill ride to max heart rate test - and then put them through their respective formulas to come up with the "correct" training numbers. But what is the most accurate test?
I really appreciate your input, and if you can, please explain why your test is the best.

cheers

I'd give the Polar test the least credence. I can't vouch for it's accuracy, since I haven't been lab tested, but the 2x20 test documented in this thread (2x20 Anaerobic threshold test) (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=43102) works out pretty close to my perceived AT.
