I would have to disagree. It should exit at about body temperature ... far from cool. However, as the gas expands into the atmosphere, it will cool rapidly. It's all a matter of distance ... or isn't that what you meant???

In my house, I'm the farter, my wife is the burper.

But....not long after I moved in with her (years ago) we went out for Japanese steak house. My wife LOVES the ginger dressing they have there, so she indulged. For whatever reason, that night it just didn't sit right with her. Man, even the dogs left the room.

btw, you know the lip-rattling burps Homer and others produce on The Simpsons? On one occasion my wife, bless her heart, let out a burp that did indeed rattle her lips. :)

Thank God she doesn't read BF.
