good padded shorts. don't wear them again without washing between uses. bag balm or some sort of chamois cream. maybe a new seat. develop more callous.

if your ass just hurts, you'll toughen up. if it's raw, then there's too much friction and something needs to be adjusted. try different seat positions.

New saddle? Not ridden for a while?

Ride more often.

Takes a while for a saddle and a butt to get attuned to each other. Give it about 200 miles and if you still have a problem- Change the Butt.-Thats cheaper than 20 saddles till you find the right one.

I got padded shorts and it fixed my soreness right up... raw, ouch sounds painfull

My raw asscheeks have chapped over, I guess this is the first stepping stone to create asscheaks of valor, with the consistency of stale bread/hardened leather/desensitized, callous skin. *Rejoice*
