I purchased a set of clipless pedals (104-VP) for my CCM Ice bike...I know it ain;t much but since August, I've pedaled more than 1600 miles on it, up to and including Dec. 23rd in Ottawa, Ontario.

I thought all pedals shafts were the same size/thread but I was wrong. Should I take them back or is it worthwhile replacing the crankset (one-piece) on my bike in order to fit the pedals.

What a disappointment when I went to screw them on.

Thanks

sergio

all one piece cranks have 1/2 inch diameter threaded holes

all multi piece cranks have 9/16 inch diameter threaded holes

thanks for the info....I'll never forget this...I returned the pedals today and bought a pair of toe-clips..cheapest alternatives (yet) to getting a new bike
