Bike: Banshee Scythe, size L
Travel: Adjustable, 7-8"
Geometry: Adjustable, FR/DH

Weight: 21.4 lbs +/-
Cable routing: less than optimal

21.4???? It would be a feather at 31.4 - - 21.4 would be blinding.
Beautiful, beautiful machine. It definitely needs a pilgrimage to its homeland.

i don't know... it's amazing how they're both the same weight.
It means note the +/-...so the weight is 21.4lbs plus or minus. Pretty impressive for a DH bike though! ;)

heh heh so true. Actually the entire 8 speed driveline came off the hardtail that girlscout13 is riding now.

I can have it there in no time, it's just getting me there that's proving difficult. Not that that would matter to you of course.

Yes, and somehow I neglected to mention the 100% margin of error. I haven't weighed it yet, probably 41-42 lbs or something? It pushes pretty easily up hills.
I doubt that weight. Please post some evidence to confirm.
You really doubt the weight? That's odd.

Well okay...maybe wait until the snow goes next year. Hopefully our house will sell quick so I can get that place in the mountains. Then we'll have a good base camp when y'all show up!

Re-read my post...I defined it. Or would it have been better if I put the word note in quotations?
I can have it there in no time, it's just getting me there that's proving difficult. Not that that would matter to you of course.Great idea! FE Ground it to me. After proper testing at Beacon, I can have it in a van northbound the evening of the 18th for never to ride on that Friday. You'll have it back maybe by Christmas :D.

Does SunFlower really not understand that Gastro's weight claim was merely him mocking SunFlower's recent weight-weiner post? Say it ain't so SunFlower! (I always liked your seeds BTW)

Niiiiiiice. I really have no need (or balls) for a bike that big, but damn, a few places around here could be pretty entertaining for a few runs on that!

"Need" is such a conveniently subjective term, don't you think? This bike isn't going anywhere tougher than I've been riding the SX Trail for the past few years. As for balls, nah, I usually go pretty medium, but at least now I can short the same gaps without crashing as much. The notable difference is how much better I feel after a weekend of pounding rocks up in WV.
66, I think you and I just need to acquire a van and head to the PNW Dumb and Dumber style.

How does my post "ruin the fun" let alone precipitate an outrageously sad "mad" smiley face from the likes of you?
I expect that kind of thing from latte-toting canucks like santiago, but not from americuns.
