Northeast - NYC ride calendar

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
At last night's Central Park Moonlight Ride, I suggested to Hannah that Time's Up make a calendar that people with calendar programs can subscribe to. She explained what was involved. I said Ahhh! Okay, never mind.
Here's mine, if anyone wants to subscribe to it. Copy and paste it wherever it needs to go in your calendar program. It's set up to pop up a reminder the day before each ride, but I don't know how well that will translate to your particular program:

It's got NYC Time's Up and CM rides now. If you know other REGULARLY REPEATING RIDES (not one-offs, not once-a-years that change their dates, ONLY THOSE WITH EASILY-DEFINED SYSTEMATIC REPEATS), let me know.
This DOES NOT AND WILL NOT INDICATE CANCELLATIONS! All it does is tell you when a ride is scheduled.
Cool! I sort of know when Times-Up rides are scheduled... sort of.. but now when I'm pedaling down the greenway wondering if there's a ride that night I'll be able to check my iPod. Thanks for doing this!
My pleasure. Let me know if you spot any errors.
Thanks! Great idea.:)
Maybe I'll send you TA rides?

As long as they follow a clear rule (e.g., "first Friday of every month" or "every other Thursday"), definitely.
I've added all the Time's Up regular and women/trans classes and workshops.
I'm messing with it this morning.

I'm not sure what to do about Outlook users. Apparently they can't read .ics files.

This is great Keith!
I have a little free workaround for those pitiful folks (like me) that must use Outlook, but have an iPhone:
Import ics file into Google Calendar; display directly on iPhone Google Calendar app. Holy Googly-Moogly!
This is the worst time managment thing possible, having two calendars, but exporting from Google Calendar is very difficult.
It's now at Google. Search for "Keith's New York Cycling Calendar."
Dude, this is great. Added it to my google calendar, works great!
Cool! Thanks for beta-testing.
George ("Air") and I are talking--he's probably going to add some non-repeating stuff.

Cool. I added it to my google calendar although I won't be around much this month.

Here's an automatically generated version of the calendar (built by FuseCal.com)
http://www.fusecal.com/calendar/ical/223888?h=5f4680bc-c663-11dd-8492-00163e284ee0
That should work if you subscribe to it from iCal or other calendar apps.
I don't know if it will automatically update, but I hope it will.

Your link works great for Outlook users like me.
It added an additional calendar to Outlook.
Thanks for getting it started Keith.

Can you repost the Outlook Compatible link?
This is the message I got:
We're sorry, the calendar you are trying to access does not exist or it has been deleted by its owner.
TIA
Steve, is that the Google calendar you're trying to find? I didn't delete it.

Nope, I see your calendar fine and can DL your iCal, but can't use it 'cause I'm on Outlook. FrankieV said the Fuse link worked fine for him in Outlook, but it's a broken link; oh well!

I used the link supplied by dschwarz.
It worked fine.
