so my friend and i found this old 70s ish Schwinn "approved" frame...

it was blue and in quite poor condition so we stripped the mofo down, primered it, and painted it.

I wish I had thought to take photos of it beforehand, to show how it was like...but I have photos of it during primer stage. It was too dark after the painting & clearcoat so I'll get the finished photos till tomorrow. Our plain is to turn it into a beater fixie.... this whole project is more or less a painting practice for a repaint of my Trek

That frame looks very simular to the 'mystery' frame on the wet-weather bike I built ,I finished the frame in grey primer with the last coat a 50/50 mix of grey-primer & clearcoat. The head tube & lugs look to be a single unit on your frame ?? or is it just the photo ?
