Hey group! In the process of trading my dad bikes over thanksgiving (I now have his Fuji S12) he handed me a wheelset... he cant remember where or when he got them but he gave them to me. I posted this over in the single speed forum but it seems as if it might be an road wheelset. Can anyone help me identify what they are and what they are worth?

Here is what I have...

Looks like set of racing wheels (italian) with Campy record wide flange hubs. Can anyone help me with any more information? What are they worth? I am thinking of trading or selling these to help fund finishing setting up my winter bike.

I have attached a few images to for your viewing pleasure, sorry about the dust on the wheels they have been in the garage for years.

This will probably get moved to the valuation section since you are looking for value info. Very nice wheelset featuring Fiamme rims. Hubs have the sought after flat skewers.

Very nice wheelset. Properly cleaned up and polished those would look really nice on any italian bike you can think of. As far as value, I'll throw out $150-$200 if you get the right buyer. Ebay prices on tubular wheelsets have not been all that high as of late, but these are fairly old and could fetch a decent price.

A pair of these rims (NOS) is for sale on ebay right now. The current bid is $275 and there is 6 days left in the auction. Shine those babies up!

Tubular rims are a death sentence when it comes to aftermarket wheels. Your saving grace is that both the rims and hubs are collectible. The question is, are they collectable as a built wheelset or are they more collectible as seperate entitites?

Clean, clean and polish.

$200+ easy to the right buyer, but get yourself a tub of Mother's, some clean rags and some q-tips, you've got some cleaning to do.
