It's been awhile since I've messed with my own stuff on this scale. I've got all the bits. Are there any trouble spots I should pay special attention to? Thanks

Take your time, don't force anything, and check back here with other questons, and have fun.

More info would help too. Are you going from 8 speed to 9, sora to Ultegra? That could make things a little more tricky. If going 9 to 9 it seems it would be easy as long as you have the right parts.

Good luck!

Sorry, Yes it's Sora 8 speed now. I also am wondering if it isn't better to sell the bike and the parts and get the '04 Allez Elite?

Well, I bought a 03' Elite in November. I can't ride it enough. If you can get a good deal on an 03' model, go for it as long as you get decent money for what you have. I test rode the 04' with the "zert" (sp?) inserts in the fork and seat post and it rode much better than mine.

On the other hand, there is the Roubiax (sp, again?), with more carbon and Ultegra. I'd bet that rides like a dream ! But I would not want to put any ideas in your head :p .
