Road Cycling - Replacement parts for Ultegra brakes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have a set of BR-6500 Ultegra brakes that I want to replace the pad holders with the same ones or equivelant. I purchased a set from Nashbar but the mounting bolt and pad holder bolt started rusting. The originals I had did not rust but I guess the Aluminium corroded under the light grey paint and the paint peeled off. (Still functioned, but bothered me) Shimano's website has part numbers on their exploded views on the brakes. Where can these parts be ordered????
Hi zman,
You should be able to get them at any bike shop. Maybe slightly more than Nashbar but you can examine the parts before buying.
