I am taking an older MTB frame and re-working it for my commuter bike and I was hoping to get some ideas on a paint scheme. I have decided I want it to be a "John Deere" theme. Colors of paint will be John Deere Yellow and Green. My initial thought was to paint the frame green, then the forks, handle bar stem and rack yellow and tape the bars yellow. But that just seems a bit lame now. I would like it to flow a bit more. So what ideas do you have? two tone on the frame itself? what would it look like?
The only part that wont be painted are rims (aluminum), cranks (chrome), and naturally tires will be black. I do have a rear rack as well. I plan on getting fenders as well.
What would you do?
