That was the score in my daughter's first Junior Varsity basketball game for Warwick Valley High School in Warwick NY. Her team won.

I don't recall what team they defeated, but they're going to have to work on their bb program.

Very good for her team. Did she get a triple double?

She played in the 2nd half and went 0-5. But she did make the team, and she loves it. I'm very happy 40 girls tried out for 12 spots, and she made the final cut. She is enjoying it.

"Big ups" to her. I predict a wonderful year, especially if she continues to enjoy it.

Wow, that's great, Pcad!!

We beat our rival team (high school freshman) for the first time in 6 years!! The other team was up by one, had the ball, it was 20 seconds, my kid stole the ball, tried to do a forced drive, they pressed him HARD, he passed it to one of the players who is more known for ball handling than points - he threw it up in a panic and scored as the buzzer rang!!

History in the making.

I feel your joy.

Tell her Siu gives her a high five!!

She gets straight A's, high honor roll, she thinks drugs are idiotic and she has a zillion friends and a boyfriend. On her Facebook page her tag line is 'I'm so F-ing happy I **** rainbows.' Oh no. Foul language from a teenager. I'm shocked. I wonder where she learned that? Who the F knows these things?

Let's hope she stays this well adjusted. The sports does help.

That great Pcad. How much pain and self loathing was involved? :D

Wow, I feel a little bad for the other team. Is there a slaughter rule?

One basket... that's rough.

Two points? They scored two points? Were they suited up in football padding and using lacrosse sticks?

In any case, congratulations to Ms. Pcadette.
