I've decided, at least temporarily, to abandon putting my old 6v NiteRider headlight back into service; however, I also have the very nice LED taillight that came with it. I hooked up the 7.2v pack I put together and that sucker is bright. Is it ok to stay with this pack or should I step it down to 6v?
Here's the light:

I think 7.2 volts is fine for this light, you won't hurt it. If you increase the voltage, interestingly, a voltage divider will automatically switch in, and cut the volts in half again... that's why this light can be used with 6 or 12 volt systems. Happy trails!

Thanks!!! I think this will complement the PBSF nicely!
