LEDs have better battery than the halogen. Is it possible to modify a 6 volt halogen system (dual 2.4watt and 10 watt) to LED? If so what are the suggested LED's to use and the parts need to make this function?

You could also possibly just use a better battery (is your nicad or nimh or li ion now?) than the one your halogens came with. If they're using a 6v battery you could overvolt with a 7.4 li ion battery, and if you had a nicad or nimh you could lose some weight/bulk in the battery as well as increase brightness if you're not already overvolted...
