Great Lakes - This is why we have rollers!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Now I run studded tires and don't mind pushing snow and the cold. However this is a little to deep for me.

Yes but think about what it would do for your track stands.

When you bury your knees in snow, it's time for the rollers.

You say that as if it's a joke. Two weeks ago I was on a single track and and over shot a turn on a downhill. I got stuck in a drift and had problems uncliping as both shoes were under snow. I ended up doing a 2-3 minute trackstand while I tried to get unstuck. Granted I had some trees to help.

what if you fell over in that snow? Just a bike on top the snow, upside down.
Killer pic. And I thought it was bad having a foot on the ground down here!

Only 3.5 more months of that "down" here... and another five months for Da Yooupers.
Race season is just around the corner, right?

That's why the Scandinavians invented the ski, not the bike.
If you were a Yooper instead of a Troll, you'd know what to do with all that. :D

Oh I know what to do with it, I love the snow that is why I moved here. I like to ski more than I like to bike and if you know me at all you know how infatuated with cycling I am if that tells you anything.
I have been skiing as much as possible a few times a week and have already burnt through 5-6 coats of wax.:D
