mine would be ... white chocolate with macadamia nuts, warm from the oven, chewy in the middle and a little crispy on the edges.

Snowball cookies. Aka Mexican Wedding Cakes, Russian Tea Cakes, etc. Those ones made with ONLY butter flour, a little salt and chopped nuts (walnuts are the best) and sugar of some sorts. . .Bake them and shake in powdered sugar then sift powdered sugar over.
I rarely make these as I will eat the whole batch(es) when I do!
ANY scottish short bread made with a really fine butter.
And brownies made with the recipe on the Ghirardelli Ground Chocolate and Cocoa container.

Cookie (Cook'*ie) n. A small round flat pastry with chocolate chips.
If it doesn't have chocolate chips it may still be good, but it's not a cookie.

Arrgh! I forgot about lemon bars. I LOVE good lemon bars.

Ooh YEAH! Mum used to get annoyed with us for deliberately leaving the lid off the container to make them go soft. They're soooo much better when they're a bit soggy. Dip 'em in cold milk for best results.
I also have to confess an unhealthy addiction to Arnott's Mint Slice biscuits.

Pretty much whatever the pastry chef at works asks me to try. It's tough to be the straight out of the oven, guinea pig cookie eater. Helps explain why I commute by bike.

How are tollhouse cookies different from chocolate chip?
Toll House cookies are chocolate chip cookies made according to the recipe (click (http://www.verybestbaking.com/Recipes/Search/RecipeCard.asp?RecipeID=18476&BrandSiteID=2)) printed on every bag of Nestle Toll House chocolate morsels. The recipe originated with Ruth Wakefield of the Toll House Inn, in Whitman, Mass (Click for history (http://www.ideafinder.com/history/inventions/story047.htm))
