I picked up a Gary Fisher Mt. Tam disc in 2001 and rode it quite a bit, on road and off. XT/XTR with nice stock bontrager parts. It was well cared for until in 2006 when on my commute home, I stood up to sprint off a light and the frame's bottom bracket cracked off from the downtube and seat tube and my pedal went to the ground. I recieved a 2007 GF AC/DC as my warrantee replacement (quite an upgrade!). I also replaced the old Marzocchi with a new Marzocchi fork (Z1,Z2 maybe, can't remember what kind atm) The bike has been ridden less than 1000 miles since though the fork and frame do have some scuffs and scratches.
I need to sell it because I'm going to be going on tour and can't afford to keep multiple bikes. The road bike and mtb are getting sold so I can afford a do-it-all cyclocross bike for touring, racing, commuting as I travel.
My question, should I try to sell the frame/fork separately from the components since they have much less use and wear than the rest of the components or sell it as a complete bike?
