Can I run a front disc wheel in a triathlon? What conditions would allow or preclude such a wheel? I understand that front disc wheels are still a no-no outside of the track, but as I see front wheels getting more aero with deeper and deeper sections, I can't help but wonder when people will say, "well a disc wheel wouldn't be too much squirrellier than the 120mm-rim wheels I'm running now, and it'd be faster so I'll do it!"
Oh, and this won't be a true disc wheel; rather, I'm considering my current box-section rim with a wheel cover since I cannot afford even a 30mm aero wheel.
