Never have I felt less coordinated in all my life. I bought the Travel Trac Rollers from performance.com, received them in a day. :thumb: So I place them in a hallway so I can lean on the wall for balance as I try them out. "Oh Lord, can it really be this difficult?", I said. Well yes, yes it can. I over corrected & swished & swashed all over. I must have come off the rollers about 5 or 6 times. :o

Fast forward one week later & I use the rollers in my living room in front of the TV with just a chair to hold onto to get me going. I still cant reach down for the water bottle without going all squirrelly like but I'm getting there. I've seen the youtube clips of guys doing no hands, no hands & 1 foot etc etc. Oh it will be some time before I even think about that.

Looking out the window yesterday at pounding rain, 41° & 30 mph winds it was nice to be on my bike. :)

You'll get it eventually. Actually that's a pretty typical experience, and it's one reason I sold my rollers and went back to a trainer. Riding indoors is boring enough without using something that won't let you read or watch TV while you do it. The weather around here is rarely so bad that I can't get out at least once or twice a week, so I just use the trainer to fill in.
I know, I know: "Trainers help with balance," and so on. But I can already balance. I just want to work up a sweat occasionally when there's snow on the ground.
