Buying a refurb saves about $70. Both come with a one year warranty. Reasons to buy new over the refurb?

Garmintends to stand behind their product even beyound the one year mark. Not sure if there any issues either way. New is always safer but maybe someone with firsthand experience will chime in.

Are you buying on eBay? I have heard they do not warranty eBay sales for new or used.
