Hey Guys - well today was a brisk 32ish degrees. Had a great ride. Have not been up hills in a while and could really feel it in my legs. By the end of the ride I was ready for the ride to end!! Funny, all summer I do not recall my legs hurting at all...think I have been riding a lot less - and am not in as good of condition as i was this summer.

Today I set out with my riding group. I do not often get to ride with the group. Mostly I am off the back somewhere. Today the group rode together alot! We had a great time. It's pretty cool to ride with the guys who normally ride really fast in the summer. They have a ton of exeprience and are fun to watch. Not to mention their bikes are pretty cools as well. One guy was riding his fixed gear. Wow that looks hard! He said it slows him down to about 21 is the fastest he can ride on the flat and with his regular bike he hits about 30-35 when he rides with the group on the flat. It also made him comfortable spinning at 100 rpm...Jeesh! Pretty amazing compared to the Bee! I have hit 24MPH on the flat when I am trying my hardest to catch a cute guy...but mostly cruise at a much slower speed. (Mr Bean catches and drops the skinnys..and I ride hard to catch the cute men...everyone need their own motivator!)

Today I think my avg was around 13... 51.1 miles. But it's a guess since the computer has shut down completely. May need new battery!

Finally photos....I know way overdue!

We started out thinking we were all crazy for getting up to ride in the cold!

We stopped for a nice break and a picture or two in the sun.

Well, I don't look like Michael Keaton either. :)

Very nice report, Bee. As always, thanks for sharing your rides with us.

Nice report there MissB :)

Looks like a good group of folks to ride with. Other than the clothing it kind of looks toasty with the sun and all. We have such a colorful recreation, even with all the bundling up! :thumb:

If gas prices stay where they are, I made a promise to myself to get more club rides in this upcoming season. Didn't make one with my West Virginia club last season, and probably only made two with the PA club.

Well just think, in S. Florida, you might be sweating bullets next week. I remember Christmas one year, it was 90F.

Looks like fun MissB, enjoy the warm weather, as it may cool off anytime. (2 degrees a super windy here now.) Yesterday we rode in 55 degrees.
