Is this a good alternative to a threadless stem adaptor and new stem?

Just weighing all options before getting something and not being happy....

If you have a threaded steerer tube, it should be fine. Just don't try to make big drops and hammer the hell out of your bike with one. I run a simialar one, but on my road bike.

It's a decent stem...............for a comfort bike!

If you bunny hop or drop off curbs, it won't hold up.
