Introductions - Hi from Turkey

Hello everybody :)
First of all, sorry for my poor English :o
I live in Cerkezkoy, a little town near Istanbul.
I am interested in bike tours.

If you enter Turkey by cycling from Edirne (from Greece or Bulgaria), you will pass very near to my town. In that case, I will be glad to wellcome all of you. :thumb:
In fact I am a beginner in bike tours, but I can get in contat with many experienced people in Turkey. And I will do my best to help you on any subject. Where to go, what to buy, where to stay, camping areas, where to eat... etc. whatever it is. Also, in Thrace (Eurpoean side of Turkey inculding the cities: Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdag) we can arrange free housing for little groups.

Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions about Turkey or Turkish people. I will be honest :D

do you want to arrive at Istanbul as fast as possible and travel in istanbul?
or do you want to travel slowly and see beautiful places in Thrace till Istanbul?
will you turn back by riding also? or buy bus/train?
MTB, tour bike or road?
will you be alone? or how many people?
dou you want to ride with*Turkish friends?
1 week? 2 weeks?
budget?
will you stay in your tents or at hotels?
etc..

when i get to greece i would know details about my trip but i am sure that i dont want to travel on the summer time you know its very hot over there .. probobly i will enter turkey from bulgaria .

Or you can join to the e-mail groups or facebook groups and then request for help from the whole group. You can be sure that there will be many hospitable bikers. :)
