Northern California - Sierra and Calaveras - 12/20 ???

I'm going to have to bail on tomorrow guys, the logistics along with the time I have to be back here are too much to deal with. I'll probably ride up here so I can be home by 3pm. I think trying to get to the start is too difficult. I'll get lost!

You guys are certifiably insane! I might actually be tempted to join you ... but I already said I'd give my roommate a ride to caltrain at 8am. Drats.

I think my round trip should be about 90 miles.

I have been sick and haven't been on the bike for like, 2 weeks. What could go wrong? :thumb:

What was I thinking, riding to the start... 2nd night in a row of under 5 hrs sleep. Soooo tired right now, oh well the cold ass wind on my ride there will wake me up before Sierra (hopefully).

:lol: I love that! Very very cool. I did see a bunch of folks from TNT out there coming southbound ... and we had a stop at the usual false summit on Calaveras.

Tough day, long day ... longer for Chris and Marco ... Chris rode from Mountain View, and Marco rode from San Mateo ... maybe Marco should join the randonneurs ... :lol:

I got 111.4 miles today. I rode with Chris back to his place in Mtn View. I was going to ride back to San Mateo for around 128 miles, but Chris offered me a ride home. Who was I to reject such an offer ;)

I never did get out very far today - I was still recovering from all the wine I drank last night. :o
