Weather looks OK for an 8:30 start, 67 mile Sherborn - Carlisle loop for a metric century then if the rain holds off, a 1PM 37 mile Strawberry Hill loop for a full 100 miles before traffic and dark. Any and all welcome.

and back; 106 miles, real windy, pretty salty puddles, averaged 16.5 mph. Wash bike and rider, food and repair the shifter cable. May not get another chance this month.

Another balmy day and maybe bag a metric century.

Weather was too good to miss. I'll try better advanced notice if we have anything close.
I find ice on the road = I am a wuss. Rain = 0 - 20 miles. Temperature roughly:
Sub 25F <20 miles.
25F to 35F = 25-35 miles
35F to 45F = 35 - 65 miles
>45F = 25-105 miles

Jan 4th looks good! I'll shoot for a metric C maybe with my new fixed. It has 35c tires which are tanks but great in snow. Again with the last minute notice but welcome to join. If pace is important I'll throw my 10spd back together and pick up a mph average speed.

Bah! Had multiple woes and only went 34 mi, local route. New, breaking in One-Way had wheel truing and inexperienced fixie wheel adjustment, bike bag replacement delays:twitchy:. Tomorrow the weather and my attitude WILL be better :ride: Carlisle won the battle today; I attack tomorrow.:notamused:
