does it matter if you want to start getting big air and doing tricks but i only have moutain bike and low on money.

Not if your're just out to have fun, but it would look kinda funny if you saw a mountain bike at a competition :D you can have alot of the same fun on a mountain bike as a bmx so if i were u i'd just keeep on ridin that mountain bike UNTIL u have enough money :)

I have a mountain bike and a bmx and there both really fun but there is only certain things you can do on a bmx
