I just finished paying for my 6-year-old son a Haro Group 1 BMX. If my memory serves me correctly, during my visits to the store and feed my lay away play plan I can swear I saw Alex rims on the bike. Now that I went to pick it up, she had Jelco rims on it. They looked decent but not similar to the ones I think I saw. I tried searching the Internet for the specs on it but cannot find the exact bike anywhere. I called the dealer and he said he thinks it is a 2008, but is not sure. The bike's frame says Group 1 SR Expert.

I tried looking for a Haro phone number but they don't have one. Only e-mails. Does anyone know how I can verify my bikes components and double check if they were changed? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks for the link, but this is a different bike than what the OP 'thinks' his son's bike is. He's also not sure about the year. Pics from the OP of the actual bike, would help.

it looks similar but its not the same. my sons is a junior siza and is grey and black and says group 1 like if it was a 2007 without the corner lines. I will post pics ASAP.

called Haro in California yesterday and they indeed said it came with Jelco rims on it but they were also double walled and very light. the gay said they had the same quality only Haro chose a different vendor for that model. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the Jelco rims quality?

Typically, on products like this, the manufacturers will have a disclaimer that features may be varied at any times, so it's not too uncommon to have stuff like that change up as you go along.
